I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Hidden gems can be found around nearly any corner throughout the Grand Canyon State. You just have to know where to look. And if you’re looking to add to your restaurant bucket list, we have a great suggestion — Robbie’s! Located in Rimrock, Robbie’s is a small-town restaurant in Arizona that’s worth a drive from anywhere.
Ask yourself the following question: "How long would I drive for good food?" While Robbie's Restaurant is nearly two hours away from my house, I would certainly take a day trip to Rimrock in order to dine here.
Whether you live in Rimrock or a surrounding town, or you're just passing through, Robbie's is the place for good food, entertainment, and a lively atmosphere. Good food and fun -- what more could you ask for?
When you come here, you may want to order an appetizer. Between the battered zucchini, jalapeño cheese curds, and the artichoke spinach dip, some tough choices will have to be made!
If you enjoy a good burger every now and then, Robbie's has quite the selection on the menu. Try the 48th State Popper Burger topped with jalepeños and green chilis for some heat or the $20 Burger made with two 6-ounce locally-sourced beef patties, four slices of cheese, four slices of bacon, fried pickles, and the house sauce.
Craving tacos all the time like I do? Try the Sedona Spicy Shrimp Tacos. Topped with shredded cheese, slaw, and avocado crema, these alone make me want to jump in the car and drive to Robbie's!
Have you ever dined at Robbie’s, a small-town restaurant in Arizona? How far would you drive for good food? Let us know! For more information, visit and follow the Robbie’s Restaurant Facebook page.
