Just 12 miles outside the city, the campground is set against a background of towering red rock walls and lush ponderosa pine trees, making it look like a scene straight out of a fairytale.
Of the 56 available campsites, 18 can be reserved in advance.

The others are on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you don't plan on booking early, try to arrive at check-in time (1 p.m.) to ensure you get a spot.
The campsites are extremely spacious, so you'll be able to fully enjoy your time in nature without worrying about noisy neighbors.

  • Pine Flat Campground – Most of the campsites here are located right up on Oak Creek, and this campground is a little slice of perfection.
