For nearly 75 years, Miracle Mile Delicatessen has been serving Arizonans an authentic taste of New York. History, tradition, and just plain deliciousness all converge under one roof at this iconic Phoenix institution.

Miracle Mile first opened in 1949, when its founder moved to Arizona from Brooklyn. George Garcia, the current owner, started as a busboy at age 15 and soon worked his way to the top. Today, his family has been keeping the legacy of this Tucson institution alive for three generations and counting.

The menu is primarily comprised of classic deli sandwiches like the pastrami and Reubens. You may have eaten them a million times, but something about a mouthful of fresh, fluffy bread, perfectly cured meat, creamy dressing, and tangy sauerkraut just never gets old.

While tradition is of the utmost importance, Miracle Mile isn't afraid to push the envelope occasionally. Pastrami and mac 'n cheese sounds like a strange combination, but it works surprisingly well.
