There are plenty of saloons in Arizona where you can travel back to the cowboy era, but none quite stack up to the rich history of Scottsdale’s Rusty Spur Saloon. The building itself dates to 1921, serving as a bank and several other establishments before the saloon opened 30 years later. With live music seven days a week and plenty of Western-themed décor, this authentic saloon will whisk you away to a bygone era.
Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, Rusty Spur Saloon is the oldest bar in the city.
It originally served as the Farmer’s State Bank of Scottsdale. The bank vault is still there to this day, only it now stores beer and liquor instead of money!

Upon stepping inside, you'll instantly be taken by the rustic atmosphere and traditional western décor.
Between the dollar bills above the bar, taxidermy, and vintage license plates and other memorabilia on the walls, the saloon has a distinct country charm that will make you long for the past.
Whether you're in the mood for a big, juicy burger, piping hot bowl of chili, or the best tamales in town, the Tex-Mex and American fare is some of the best you'll ever eat.
