Family outings are a no-go at the moment, but we can still have plenty of fun from home! OdySea Aquarium has launched three live webcams showcasing some of its most popular animals like sharks and sea lions, plus a variety of educational activities and videos. Gather up the whole family for some nautical nonsense!
Arizona's most popular aquarium might be closed to the public for now, but its animals are still going about their usual antics. OdySea has put together a program with live cameras, educational activities, and q&a videos with staff to put a smile on your face during these hard times.
Some of the most popular creatures in the aquarium, the sharks are always ready for their 15 minutes of fame. Watch them cut through the water with ferocious intensity and seek out their prey.
Taped footage showing what the animals are up to is regularly being posted to the website. Between shark pups and penguins practicing their social distancing skills, you can catch up with many of the residents.
Still want more? The 'Virtual Learning' tab features fun facts, informative videos from the experts, and kid-friendly activities guaranteed to educate the whole family. From shark jello treats to penguin origami and everything in-between, the lessons are entertaining for all ages.
To support the aquarium and its 5,000 animals, you can purchase two general admission tickets that will be valid for one year after the reopening date. You'll help provide fish to feed five sea lions, salt for 900 gallons of water, produce to feed endangered sea turtles, and nearly 100 feet of PVC pipe for maintenance of animal systems.
