There are a lot of spine-tingling abandoned places in Arizona, but the Domes of Casa Grande just might be the eeriest of them all. Built over 40 years ago to serve as a computer manufacturing site, these oddly-shaped buildings were never completed. Today, they sit in a state of disrepair, slowly succumbing to the harsh desert elements.
Editor’s Note: As of January 2023, the Casa Grande Domes are no longer standing, having been torn down following a lengthy legal and safety advisory process. However, Casa Grande-area visitors should definitely check out this historic hotel to see a completely different side of AZ architecture.
