Who’s ready for a day of shopping in Tucson? We’re not talking about any ordinary shopping though. Instead, we are going to suggest a shopping trip to two unique places on the same day — Gather A Vintage Market and the Tanque Verde Swap Meet. At these flea markets in Tucson, Arizona, you’ll find one-of-a-kind items that are hard to find anywhere else.
If you love hunting for unique second-hand objects like vintage goods and antiques, then you'll love perusing the booths at Gather A Vintage Market. This is the first stop on this Tucson day trip.
Held once a month over the course of four days, you'll find an array of unique goods including household and garden items. The market is open the second weekend of the month from Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday.
If you come to the market each month, it's completely different from the month before from the layout to the goods being sold. You'll always find something interesting and new to you here!
Our second stop is the Tanque Verde Swap Meet, the largest outdoor market in Southern Arizona. Covering an expanse of over 33 acres and hosting over 800 vendors, you'll be able to shop 'til you drop here!
This is among the most popular flea markets in the entire state and sees over 1 million visitors each year. This place is a must for bargain hunters.
This massive flea market is open on weekends throughout the year. Friday hours are 3 p.m. until 11 p.m., Saturday hours are 8 a.m. until 11 p.m., and Sunday hours are 2 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Not only are there hundreds of vendors booths to shop at but dining options and fun for the whole family. You can grab a beer from one of the food booths and walk around with it as you shop...
...grab a bite to eat at one of the food trucks, and children will love the rides as well as the koi pond. Tanque Verde Swap Meet is a fun place for the whole family!
