With a name like "Easy Breezy," this trail has relaxation built right into it. At just under 4 miles long and with an elevation gain of less than 250 feet, the short-and-sweet stroll within the Coconino National Forest proves that hiking doesn't have to be a difficult sport.
The trail is well shaded, with thick foliage lining the path on either side. It's also not typically crowded, so you'll be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature with few distractions.
Since the ascent isn't very steep and no rock scrambling is required, this is an ideal hike to bring your four-legged friend on. It's also great for families with young children!
...such as the iconic Cathedral Rock. If you aren't up for the challenging Cathedral Rock Trail, which is rated as hard, Easy Breezy offers stunning views of the world-famous landmark for a small fraction of the effort.
Perhaps you'll want to take a little break at the scenic overlook before heading back out to the trailhead. The hike is short enough that you can spend as much time as you'd like admiring the sweeping panoramic vistas and marveling at Arizona's remarkable beauty.
