I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Are you in need of a spa day? Perhaps even an hour or two will do to reset your mind, body, and spirit. To me, there’s no better way to get pampered than a day at the spa! If you find yourself in Sedona, there are quite a few spas around, especially at the hotels and resorts. However, there’s one that seems to stand out among the rest. Sedona Infinity Spa & Wellness Center isn’t your typical spa. With its unique attributes, this is a wonderfully relaxing spa you should make part of your wellness journey.
If you're in Sedona and are in need of some self-care, Sedona Infinity Spa & Wellness Center has a wonderful menu of services with licensed therapists. Spending time here will make you feel refreshed and renewed!
You can also upgrade to the Massage & Sound package during which you'll enjoy being pampered while listening to the healing sounds of crystal bowls in the halotherapy room.
Central to this spa and wellness center is the salt therapy room where halotherapy is practiced. If you've never heard of halotherapy, it's essentially dry salt therapy.
Done in a humidity-free salt room with Pure Grade Sodium Chloride (aka salt) that's been heated and crushed into micro-particles that are breathed in during a session. Salt therapy sessions last 30-45 minutes at this spa.
I have done salt therapy before and found it to be a relaxing experience!
Another option at Sedona Infinity Spa & Wellness Center is Red Light Therapy. During a session, the red light is meant to naturally stimulate the body's natural production of Adenosine Triphosphate and you're meant to experience reduced inflammation, reduced pain, and improved circulation, among other benefits.
