There's a whole slew of activities from a pumpkin decorating station to a straw maze, carnival games, and over 20 varieties of pumpkins to choose from. Make sure to make a stop here this fall!

Apple Annie's actually has a 40-acre pumpkin patch where you can discover (and pick) your perfect pumpkin from late September until the end of October. Now, how's that for ringing in the fall season? 3. Schnepf Farms

If you want to visit one of the best pumpkin patches near Queen Creek, Schnepf Farms is the place to go. Starting October 5, you can partake in Schnepf Farm's Pumpkin & Chili party. 4. Mortimer Farms

As for pumpkin patches near Prescott, you'll love visiting Mortimer Farms in nearby Dewey. The farm's annual Pumpkin Festival & Corn Maze will open on September 29 and close on October 29. The hours are 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. each day of the festival. Tickets are $19.50 (children under the age of 2 are free). Try your skills in the corn maze then go to the field to find your pumpkin. There's so much fun to be had at Mortimer Farms this fall!

5. Yuma Family Pumpkin Patch

For those looking for pumpkin patches near Yuma, the Yuma Family Pumpkin Patch has been going strong since 2005. Sponsored by Champion Church and run by hundreds of volunteers, families can enjoy spending time outside while looking for a pumpkin. The dates for this pumpkin patch are the last three weekends of October from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sundays.

6. Vertuccio Farms

From Saturday, Sept. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 29th, Vertuccio Farms will host its annual Fall Festival complete with a corn maze and a pumpkin patch. So, if you're looking for pumpkin patches near Mesa, this is the farm to visit. The festival will also include a petting zoo, a massive slide, barrel train rides, carnival games, mini golf, and so much more!

If you're looking for more pumpkin patches near Phoenix, consider driving to the Rocker 7 Farm Patch in Buckeye. There is an admission price of $9 per person or $40 per family (up to 5 people) for the pumpkin patch but it's so worth it! The field is open between Oct. 12 and Oct. 29 on Thursdays and Fridays from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
