I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!

Gadzooks is more of a quick-service eatery with several locations around the Valley. Just step right up to the counter and place your order. You can also order online ahead of time if you prefer.

So, how creative will you get as you build your own enchiladas? Choices for filling include roasted tomatillo chicken, green chile pork, Modelo-braised bison; smashed Jack potato, sautéed spinach and mushroom, sweet and spicy cornbread, and Guajillo short rib.
After you choose your fillings, it's time to decide on a sauce. Your choices are red or green chile or both (aka "Christmas"). You can order it on top or on the side. Next is the cheese. Your choices here are a Chihuahua or Asadero cheese, both, or none.
In addition to the fillings, the sauces, and the cheese, you also have the option to further customize with a variety of salsas, dressings, and add-ons like goat cheese or an egg.
