Day trips are nice, but sometimes, a longer trip is necessary to truly appreciate a natural wonder in its entirety. Watson Lake is one such place that definitely requires a several-night stay, and there’s a campground just minutes away to facilitate it. Spending the night at Point of Rocks RV Campground is a summer adventure you’ll never forget.
Watson Lake is a reservoir in Prescott with almost otherworldly rock formations throughout its waters.
This incredible place boasts a vast array of recreational activities for the whole family to enjoy during the summer, and Point of Rocks RV Campground lets you stay mere minutes away from the action.
Plots go for just $43 per night and include amenities including as electricity, water, sewer, WiFi, and your own private picnic table.
Watson Lake State Park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the summer, so you have plenty of time to watch the sunset!
There are two boat docks right here at the campground, and kayaks can be rented for just $30 each. Paddle boards are also available for $25, and rentals can be kept all day long.
