Nothing tastes better than locally-sourced food, and Joe’s Farm Grill in Gilbert serves up exactly that. The restaurant has an organic garden in its very own backyard, harvesting fruits and vegetables sometimes mere hours before they make it to your plate. You won’t find fresher food anywhere else in Arizona. Check it out:
Joe's Farm Grill dates back to 1996, when the Johnston family built their ranch-style home here. Much of the original residence has been preserved, merging the 60s-era feel with a mid-century burger stand.
Per customer request, indoor seating was expanded in a recent remodeling. The atmosphere is sleek and modern with a laid-back feel, making it perfect for a low-key family dinner.
Don't worry, the patio is going strong. Nothing quite compares to dining underneath the shade of ancient oaks with ethereal lights strung between their branches. Add a little early summer breeze, and the vibe is truly unparalleled.
Known as "Agritopia," a whopping 12 acres of organic farmland is right in the restaurant's backyard. Joe's takes the term "farm-to-table" to a whole new level, with components of your meal having been harvested just hours before plating.
Breakfast is served all day and includes mouthwatering dishes like Chicken & Waffles, topped with citrus honey butter, syrup, and served alongside maple honey mustard sauce for dipping. The chicken can be swapped out for tender, juicy smoked pork loin ribs if you feel so inclined. Since they're made with fresh, pasture-raised eggs, you'll taste the difference after just one bite.
Six different burgers each offer a unique culinary experience, loaded with fun goodies like pecan pesto, BBQ sauce, homemade onion rings, and bacon. For plant-based diners, there's a garden burger made in-house from black beans, brown rice, oats, and ten fresh vegetables.
Dessert is not optional, so make sure to save up some room. Cheesecake comes in four different flavors, including the Chocolate Caramel Turtle pictured here.
