A Massive Dust Storm Just Shut Down This Arizona Interstate
You can always count on Arizona to keep you on your toes. This week those living in the San Simon area were affected a massive dust storm that had Interstate 10 shut down for several days. And if you were thinking that the storm has cleared and that you now have the green light to travel along this highway, guess again.

Unfortunately, a nearby farm removed its soil stabilizers this week to do some planting, but instead left the farm unattended when high winds were due to hit the area.

On Tuesday the National Weather Service had issued a blowing-dust advisory from Bowie to San Simon.

After visibility dropped on the road, a semi-trailer heading eastbound crossed the median and collided with head on with the woman's vehicle. Last week, several crashes on both sides of the interstate resulted in injuries to nearly 10 people.

Officials have reported that they're going to do whatever it takes to get the farm owner to resolve things and to shed light on the problems at hand. Longtime residents of the area claim that they've never seen the highway shut down for so many consecutive days, expressing their anger over the unresolved issue.
Have you been affected at all by this week’s dust storms? Like always, we urge you to be safe if you have to leave the house and to share your experiences with us in the comments sections!
