Over the decades, the lodge has grown to include a variety of lodging options.

All are located in a wooded setting along Christopher Creek, a small brook perfect for enjoying the lazy waters of this shallow oasis.

The accommodations here include full-sized cabins, complete with a kitchen and the comforts of home.

There is also a lodge that is similar to a motel. The rustic rooms aren't the Hilton, but if you wanted the Hilton you'd have gone to Phoenix for a staycation, right?

And lastly, if you're in search of an authentic rustic cabin experience, then you can stay in one of the nine bunkhouses. Each is sporadically furnished with a pair of full-sized bunk beds.

Which ever choice fits your needs best, just be on the lookout for this creature. You'll spot him here and there throughout the property. (Is it the *real* Mogollon Monster? You be the judge!)

When you've had all the R&R you can handle, step things up a notch by heading out on a few short, nearby excursions. Woods Canyon Lake Recreation Area is open seasonally. This outdoor wonderland is the perfect spot to enjoy nature for an afternoon.

Various foot trails near the lake dish up scenic hikes, both long and short.

In less that ten minutes from the lodge, you can find yourself at the Mogollon Rim Visitor Center. From here, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the valley below.
