This mysterious castle hiding on Camelback Mountain is one-of-a-kind because almost no one knows it exists. See for yourself:

Nestled high above Tucson, the castle was constructed by Dr. Mort Copenhaver, a wealthy orthodontist who had always dreamed of living in a medieval fortress. The 7,000-square-foot structure is eight stories high and features 20 rooms, a dungeon, 10 balconies, and a 17-foot waterfall in the living room.

Unfortunately, Copenhaver lost the castle in 1988 due to bankruptcy. Its next owner met a similar fate, leading locals to suggest the property is cursed. For the next seven years, not a single offer was made for fear of financial downfall.

Everyone thought the castle would be left to decay forever until Robert Pazcerka finally purchased it 25 years later. Pazcerka plans to keep the exterior as is and dedicate $5 million to refurbishing the interior.
