Outside of work, you can likely find her curled up on with a hot cup of coffee, practicing yoga, baking, or exploring the beautiful Lone Star State (in particular, the vast and mystical West Texas desert).
Regular corn mazes are fun and all, but everything is better with a Halloween twist. Glendale’s Field of Screams is full of ghouls, creatures, and crazed maniacs waiting for you around every corner. Take a terrifying walk through the twists and turns and hope you make it to the finish line.
Legend has it the cornfield was planted over a forgotten cemetery dating back to the 1880s, when Glendale was a stop along the Santa Fe Railroad.
Today, those forgotten souls are said to wander the maze in search of their next victim. Friday was opening night, and you'll have a chance to experience the terror through Halloween.
From evil clowns to characters from your favorite horror classics, haunts of all types are waiting in the bushes. Are you brave enough to come face-to-face them?
Tickets are $20, but get knocked down to $15 on Halloween night. All ages are welcome; however, some of the scenes might not be suitable for small children.
After they're done making your blood turn cold with fear, the creeps and creatures will be more than happy to pose in a family picture. You'll definitely want to remember the night you thought you wouldn't see the end of.
If you have little ones who aren't quite ready for Freddy Kruger, there's also a family maze and pumpkin patch so everyone can enjoy the night. You'll find Field of Screams at 5726 N. 75th Ave., Glendale, AZ. 85303.
Have you ever been to Field of Screams? Are there any other epic haunted corn mazes in Arizona that everyone should visit this month? Let us know in the comments below?
