Spending a day on the water definitely works up an appetite, and there isn’t always a restaurant within walking distance of where you set sail. Luckily, Dillon’s Bayou at Pleasant Harbor is located on Lake Pleasant, so you can tame that voracious hunger right away with some mouthwatering barbecue.
Located on the pristine Lake Pleasant, Dillon's Bayou is a floating restaurant that serves up some of the most finger-lickin' good BBQ in Arizona. It's the perfect place to grab a bite to eat after spending the day fishing, water skiing, or boating on the water.
Seating is available both indoors and out, so you can either enjoy the lively atmosphere or dine peacefully overlooking the lake. The water is so clear, you can practically see right through to the bottom!
Start your meal with one of many mouthwatering appetizers, including fried pickles, Bavarian pretzels, and both crispy and traditional chicken wings. Choose between mild, Cajun, sweet-heat, mango habanero, or hot sauce for dipping if you decide on the wings.
On to the main course, you'll be hard-pressed to find better barbecue. From burnt ends slow-smoked over pecan wood for more than 16 hours to pulled chicken and everything in-between, rest-assured you'll clean your plate and still be hungry for seconds. Don't pass up the scrumptious side dishes like coleslaw and mashed potatoes.
Other crowd favorites include juicy Angus burgers, fresh fish, salad, soup, and sandwiches. For dessert, apple walnut cobbler, five-layer chocolate cake, and cinnamon pretzels are among your choices. There's also a separate gluten-free menu with entrees like fish tacos, pulled pork, and bone-in chicken.
Compliment your meal with a cold drink, which Dillon's is proud to offer many different varieties of. Whether you fancy a Bloody Mary, margarita, or local IPA, there's something for everyone.
