This Bizarre Natural Wonder In Arizona May Test Your Resolve In More Ways Than One
Most people who head out for a hike aren’t seeking the most treacherous hike in America – which happens to be right here in Arizona. Nor are they in search of an effortless and leisurely stroll with little to no natural wonders at which to gawk. That leaves trails that are both beautiful and a bit challenging. Devil’s Bridge Trail Arizona fits neatly into that category. Take a look:
You may be wondering the best time to hike the Devil’s Bridge Trail. When I went, it was during early spring and the weather was perfect. I wouldn’t advise this hike in the summer months. October through May are most likely the best times of the year for this trail.
Devil’s Bridge Trail Arizona is located 12 miles west of Sedona. The trailhead is located off of Dry Creek Road and is open year-round. Getting there requires a high-clearance vehicle due to the rough road. An alternate route for lower vehicles can be found U.S. Forest Service website. Get more information, including turn-by-turn directions, on the official website of Coconino National Forest.
