If a blue-green lagoon and white sand beaches in the desert sound too good to be true, you’re in for a real treat. Set to open in Spring 2023, VAI Resort in Glendale will be a 60-acre luxury hotel and entertainment complex complete with a tropical lagoon, fine dining restaurants, and so much more. It will definitely be one of the best resorts in Arizona! Here’s what we know so far:
Soon, you won't even have to leave the Valley to have an unforgettable tropical vacation.
VAI Resort, a massive, state-of-the-art hotel, is slated to open in Glendale in late Spring 2023. It will be the largest resort and entertainment complex in Arizona.
Ground for the resort has officially broken, and local residents are excited.
VAI Resort will feature a 52,000-square-foot island surrounded by white sand beaches and a massive lagoon with blue-green water that will look like it came straight from the Caribbean. It'll be a true oasis in the desert, and we can't wait to see the finished product.

Although the venue is a mere skeleton at this point, its executives have bold hopes for the future.
The resort is expected to create nearly 2,000 jobs for the area and will host over 100 annual events, including performances by top artists. There will also be a tethered hot air balloon that takes passengers 400 feet into the sky to enjoy unparalleled views of the Valley - especially at sunset.
Travelers will flock to Glendale from all over the globe to experience this world-class destination firsthand.
Nearly 200 of the hotel suites will face the concert stage, so guests can watch the show from the comfort of their own room. Other amenities will include a 20,000-square-foot spa and wellness center, plus a wedding chapel and 40,000 square feet of ballrooms and meeting spaces.
