True foodies know that a dining experience isn’t always just about the food. The Cliff Dwellers Lodge and Restaurant is easy enough to get to, if you have the patience and don't mind a long drive out to Marble Canyon. It's located in an unassuming mid-century building with views that seem to go on and on forever.
They even have alcohol, so you can sit out on the porch and toast the fact that you're a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of home. And by the way, if you want to bunk down right here in the middle of nowhere, you can always book a room at their lodge.
We wouldn't send you out in the middle of nowhere without some side trips in case you want to get out and explore. The Cliff Dwellers Restaurant is located just down the road from the Historic Navajo Bridge. Any trip to "this" nowhere should include a visit to this historic bridge.
While you're at it, just keep on driving and enjoy the sights along the Fredonia-Vermillion Cliffs Scenic Highway (U.S. Route 89A). There is much to see!
