We have some pretty unique animals in Arizona, but this is on a whole different level. Keep reading to find out where you can get up close and personal with dozens of camels right here in the Grand Canyon State.
Located on a small family farm in Southeast Yuma, this incredible place just might be the town's best-kept secret. It isn't every day you get to come face-to-face with these majestic desert animals, so it's truly an incredible opportunity.
All the camels are well-fed, extremely playful, and happy as can be. Placards outside many enclosures provide the animal's name and a few fun facts like age, birthplace, and favorite food.
Guests receive one complimentary bucket of pellets to feed the animals, and each additional round is $1. Everyone is friendly, interactive, and always appreciative of getting a treat!
In addition to camels, the farm also has goats, ostriches, zebra, water buffalo, exotic birds, and several other unique animals. Nowhere else can you get this close to so many magnificent creatures for just $8 per person!
Whether it be an educational trip for the kiddos or a daily dose of cuteness, any excuse to visit The Camel Farm is valid. In case you still don't believe us, take a look at this little baby and think again!
