Underground breweries are all the rage these days, and we’re lucky enough to have one right here in Arizona. Goldwater Brewing Co. in Scottsdale takes you on a journey beneath the earth’s surface to tantalize your taste buds with a wide selection of nitro and craft beers in a setting you’ll never forget. Check it out:
On the outside, Goldwater looks like any ordinary brewery. The family-owned business has been open since 2015, surprising visitors with the unexpected perk waiting inside.
Nicknamed the "Goldmine," this underground room takes your night out to a whole new level. The space has a speakeasy vibe, giving it a sense of secrecy despite being a well-known watering hole.
Additional seating is available in the main room. It offers different brews on tap than down in the Goldmine, so spend a little time here and experience the best of both.
From nitro to craft brews, over a dozen options are available on-tap at any given time. Some are light and others more robust, so there's something to satisfy every palate.
Goldwater is known to push the envelope when it comes to flavors. Special one-off batches like PB&J, Blueberry Coffee Cake, and Fruit Salad provide a taste sensation akin to eating your favorite snack.
Goldwater Brewing Co. is open Monday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday & Saturday from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m., and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
