The Beeline Cafe is a must-stop eatery anytime I come to Payson with family or out-of-town guests. Payson is a quick day trip destination from Scottsdale but we always make sure to arrive hungry so we can dine at this mom-and-pop restaurant.

Among the best things to order at Beeline Cafe are any of the Breakfast Combos and the classic sandwiches like a BLT of Philly Cheese. But, I assure you, whatever you order, you'll enjoy every bite!

(My personal favorite here at Beeline Cafe is the Chicken Chef Salad with honey mustard dressing.)
Several flavors of pie are made from scratch on a daily basis. They're traditional as can be, with light and flaky crusts supporting the gooiest, most melt-in-your-mouth fillings on earth.

Among the best things to do in Payson, Arizona are:

  • Hiking and swimming at Water Wheel Falls. A personal favorite of mine when I'm in town, Water Wheel Falls is a series of waterfalls and swimming holes that stretch alongside a hiking trail. Nearly at every point, you can jump in and cool off. Not only is it a great family-friendly place to explore but incredibly scenic.
  • Exploring Tonto Natural Bridge. This park is home to the largest natural travertine bridge in the world. If you can, try to hike under the bridge You'll need water shoes or a good pair of waterproof hiking boots, but it's so worth it!
