Arizona might be landlocked, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take a beach vacation – it just has to be culinary in nature. Your taste buds will be hanging ten after experiencing the fresh, tropical flavors at SoCal’s Fish Taco Company. Cowabunga!
SoCal Fish Taco Company is nestled in downtown Gilbert, but it looks more like a restaurant you'd find on the Santa Monica Pier in California.
Just like a beachside taco stand, the food is fast, affordable, and delicious. From salmon to swordfish, blackened grouper to beer-battered lobster, nearly a dozen taco varieties will have your taste buds hanging ten.
Not a taco lover? Don't fret; there are plenty of other mouthwatering options. Dive into an endless bucket of fresh oysters, chilled on the half shell. Steamed mussels and clams are also available, both served with butter.
Seafood platters, salad, sandwiches, crab cakes, and SoCal's famous clam chowder round out the menu. Wash everything down with a California craft beer and daydream about sunbathing with your toes in the sand, not a single care in the world.
Enjoy your meal either indoors or outside on the gorgeous patio. It's a perfect evening lounge spot, with dim lighting and a slow-burning fire to relax around.
Anchor yourself at 219 N. Gilbert Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85234 and get ready for a culinary excursion to the sandy beaches of Southern California. The Grand Canyon State may not have a coastline, but at least we can eat like it does!
Have you ever eaten at SoCal’s Fish Taco Company? Are there any other beach-themed restaurants in Arizona that take your taste buds on a journey to the coast? Let us know your favorites in the comments below!
