Ah, the holiday season is now officially upon us. As you’re reading this article waiting for turkey or pie to finish in the oven, now is as good a time as ever to reflect upon everything we have to be thankful for in life. What are you thankful for?
Aside from having a supportive family, a career, and a home–something many people in our country lack–I naturally also think about the state that we live in. It’s easy to take any of these things for granted, especially in a fast-paced culture such as the one we live in. So let’s take a moment to appreciate some of the reasons we live, work, and love here in Arizona.
1. Family, for me at least, always comes first!

My family has deep roots in Arizona, as is the case for plenty of natives. Whether your family is also located here in the state or thousands of miles away, they are a gift to be cherished.
2. Arizona’s unique landscapes and environments are beautiful and difficult to find elsewhere. It’s also the perfect location for enjoying a day out in nature on Black Friday instead of shopping.
The monsoon season is the most talked about and appreciated in the sweltering summer months for their intensity and relief. But winter storms and all that in between are just as wonderful.

4. Plus, we get an amazing blend of scents throughout the year across the state that we can all be thankful for.
