This motel has little cottages and spots to park your RV but the accommodations you really want here are the renovated train cars. There are three cars overall: one Grand Canyon railcar and two little caboose suites that offer a unique stay!
From the neon signs to the vintage murals surrounding the building, this little motel knows how to capture that nostalgia travelers look for when driving Route 66. Each room is decorated after a classic Hollywood icon and you’ll find pieces of memorabilia all over the motel.

The motel for the Grand Canyon Caverns is a nice little place but splurge for the cavern room if you can because it’s one experience you’ll never forget. You get to sleep in a private room deep underground where you can experience the darkest, quietest sleep in your life!
This historic hotel has a classic hotel feel with vintage furnishings and the cute rooms. It might look a little rough around the edges on the exterior but it makes for a nice, cozy stay.
One of Winslow’s gems, La Posada Hotel is a historic landmark and one of the last railroad hotels built along the Santa Fe Railroad. The brainchild of railroad entrepreneur Fred Harvey and architect Mary Colter, the 1929 hotel has a luxurious atmosphere that will make your stay ever relaxing.
If quirky is what you expect out of a Route 66 motel, then these next motels will be just what you’re looking for! The Stagecoach 66 Motel in Seligman looks pretty ordinary from the outside but one step into the rooms and you’ll find some pretty unique décor. There’s one room dedicated to Elvis and another called the Bunkhouse, which you can take a peek at above.
