Benjamin Franklin once wrote, “wine makes daily living easier, less hurried, with fewer tensions and more tolerance.” For me, heading out into the quiet, slow-paced rural areas always seems to have the same effect. The mind quiets, the body relaxes, and it’s a chance to slow down from an otherwise fast-paced lifestyle. If you were to combine both wine and Arizona’s rural areas, you might get something like this incredible winery.
Rune Wines is located at 3969 Highway 82, just past mile marker 39 in Sonoita. You can find details about their wine tasting schedule on their website or Facebook page.
