What kind of place comes to mind when you apply the title “The Darndest Place to Visit?” Perhaps something slightly adventurous with a touch of whimsy and nostalgia? If that’s what you have in mind, then you are going to love this farm and petting zoo we’re going to highlight today, which possesses all those qualities in an offbeat roadside attraction.
The Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch is located at 17599 East Peak Lane in Picacho, just off Interstate 10 near Picacho Peak State Park. You can find details about admission fees, hours of operation, products for sale, and more by visiting the farm’s website.
If you’re in the northern part of the state, there are several other fantastic exotic animal zoos and sanctuaries to visit. One of our favorites is Bearizona, which you can read about in our previous article: Visit This Little Known Arizona Park For The Time Of Your Life.
