Ready to hit the road and discover new places? We probably don’t need to tell you that such adventures are never too far in Arizona. In fact, there’s one fairly easy adventure you can take here in Arizona that will give you a chance to witness a piece of history and get a bit of exercise in your day.
The location we’re looking at today can be found within the Superstition Wilderness, just outside Gold Canyon and hidden away at the end of a residential street.
Hieroglyphic Trail is a fairly easy hike just under three miles with a steady incline and little to no shade. The trek will take you into the desert and is perfect in late fall or early spring.
There is also a small pool and seasonal waterfall that occasionally run, making this area feel like a peaceful little sanctuary from the busy city life.
