If you didn’t already know, Arizona is filled with plenty of long-abandoned places, including many that are purportedly haunted. In addition to the long list of haunted hotels, bars, and towns, there is at least one old sheriff’s office and jail you can tour in central Arizona that is home to some spooky tales. Let’s take a look!
The 1910 Gila County Sheriff’s Office and Jail is located at 149 East Oak Street in Globe. You can find details about historical and haunted tours by visiting their Facebook page and information about the seasonal haunted jail experience on their website.
If you’ve had a chance to visit the old Gila County Sheriff’s Office and Jail, be sure to let us know about your experience in the comments below – especially if you had a ghostly encounter! If you haven’t yet visited, what do you hope to see during a tour here?
