Arizona is home to some pretty cool little restaurants… that is, if you take the time to find them. We love discovering places that are unique in menu, theme, and location. And, guess what? We’re featuring a tasty place that we think you will love! Let’s take a look.
This is Hanny’s, a restaurant located in downtown Phoenix near the intersection of 1st Street and Adams Street.
There are several things that make this restaurant stand out from many of the other eateries downtown, but one of the most unique aspects of Hanny’s? It was once a department store!
Hanny’s was built as a three-story department store in 1947 and it brought modern architecture into the Southwestern city with its international style.
Hanny’s is located at 40 North 1st Street in downtown Phoenix. You can find details about the old store, the menu, and even take a virtual tour by visiting their website or Facebook page.
