1. Drive, then walk, through Bearizona to see some of Arizona’s incredible wildlife.

No travel list in Arizona is complete without mentioning the Grand Canyon and it’s a great location to visit with family. Walk to different view points, check out the historical buildings, and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
If your kids love trains or you’re looking for an excuse to not drive, you’re going to enjoy this day trip. Board the trin in the morning, spend a few afternoon hours at the Grand Canyon, and then head back to Williams on the train.
When you’re in Williams, be sure to book a night or two at this unique motel. Opt to stay in this little red caboose or in one of the other historic train cars for an unforgettable night!
Trail Dust Town was once a set for an unfinished Glenn Ford movie back in the 1950s, but these days, you’ll find it a bustling center for fun. Restaurants, shops, actors, and stunt shows are just the start of the list of things you can see and do in this outdoor shopping center.
If you and your family are okay with riding through a small, enclosed space, you’re going to enjoy this incredibly unique tour. Ride in a mine cart, head underground, and get a tour from a retired miner who can offer some amazing insight into what it was like working here.
Did you know that Arizona is home to the largest airplane boneyard in the world? At the Pima Air & Space Museum, you can take the family to check out some historic planes!
