The temperatures are fluctuating this time of year, with some weeks feeling just slightly warmer and more spring-like than others. In fact, it already has us dreaming of sleeping under the stars and enjoying s’mores around a campfire out on the Mogollon Rim. There’s still a risk of getting stuck in the snow this time of year, so instead, we’re taking a look at one unique restaurant that captures some of the joys of summer camp and camping!
This is Camp Social, a restaurant located in uptown Phoenix on 7th Street just past Bethany Home Road.
The camp theme even extends to the drinks! The Lazy Sunday (a concoction that includes whiskey and tea) is served in mason jars and extra comes in a classic Thermos bottle.
The food, meanwhile, looks a little less like the meals you'd eat at camp or while camping but they're still quite tasty. Seen here is a plate of fried brussel sprouts.
The restaurant has burgers, sandwiches, and pizza on its menu and each item has a playful name: the Winnebago, Elmer Fudd's Duck Club, and Shroomin' In The Woods.
And you're meal won't be complete without a true camping-style dessert: s'mores! You can roast the marshmallows right at your table then add the gooey ingredient to your chocolate-covered graham cracker.
Camp Social is located at 6107 North 7th Street in Phoenix. You can find details about the restaurant’s hours of operation, menu, and more by visiting their website or Facebook page.
