Now that the holidays are here, there’s no better way to enjoy a slice of baked love than with a delicious, homemade pie. Not everyone has pie baking skills so some of us like to leave that to the professionals. If you’re looking for a slice of delicious pie along with a unique, historic experience, you need to try the ones offered at this little Arizona restaurant.
Rock Springs Cafe is a restaurant located in the small Black Canyon City, just a few miles north of the sprawling Phoenix metropolitan area.
The area surrounding Rock Springs had been known as part of the traditional homeland for the Yavapai and it later became a watering stop for travelers as Americans began settling in the region. A general store was established in 1918, the building erected a few years later, and the rest is history.
While you can order a slice or an entire pie to go, the best way to enjoy your pick is warmed, topped with a scoop of ice cream, and served with a steaming cup of coffee. It doesn't get better than this!
If you're craving a little something more to fill your tummy, you can choose an item from their extensive breakfast, lunch, or dinner menu. But make sure you finish that meal with a slice of pie!
Rock Springs Cafe is located at 35900 South Old Black Canyon Highway in Black Canyon City. You can find details about the menu and operating hours on their Facebook page or website.
