I don’t know about you, but this warm spring weather really makes me want to get out of the office and hit the road. If you’re feeling the same way, here are a few places that are sure to inspire your next adventure:
The first item on our list also happens to be the longest version: the Arizona Trail. Spanning 800 miles from north to south, this trail takes you through some of Arizona's most beautiful landscapes and would be an impressive feat to accomplish.
Located in eastern Arizona, this wilderness area's creek and canyon is beautiful, in part because of the limited access allowed. Permits are issued through the Bureau of Land Management for a wide range of activities.

If there's any hiking trail to take in the Sedona area, this is one you won't want to miss. The trail walks visitors through some stunning views of the box canyon and there are plenty of natural sites to explore here.

One Arizona's lesser visited caves, this is one for the spelunkers who tread lightly and want to see some cave growth up close. Access is very limited so be sure to contact the Coronado National Forest office to reserve the cave for exploration.
Accessible yet stunning, this park has some of Arizona's stunning rock formations in one spot. Everyone wants to see this view (above) but check out the lesser visited areas as well.

The list of activities at the Grand Canyon are endless: hiking, camping, fishing, boating, rafting, and even rock climbing. Take your pick.
Located near Prescott, the Granite Dells are a stunning sight when hiking and shows that Arizona's rock formations are more than the red sandstone found in the northern part of the state. For a more extreme adventure, this area is also great for advanced mountain bikers.
The rugged landscape here was made for adventure. There are a several hiking trails for different levels of ability, as well as biking trails and areas to view wildlife. Plus, who could turn down exploring an area with such an incredible backstory?

Located in the Santa Rita Mountains near Tucson, Madera Canyon is a welcome relief from the usual desert environment without having to drive very far. It's a great spot for the usual list of outdoor activities, including hiking and wildlife viewing.
From the highway, this just appears to be a long mesa, but it's not until you walk into the park that you realize how beautiful and diverse the area is. The park's trails will lead you to some of the most incredible views you will ever see.
