The Nenana River runs along the eastern border of Denali National Park.
You’ll see stunning scenery, incredible Alaskan wildlife, and the thrill of a lifetime when you cruise down this famous river. And you can even have the option of experiencing Class V whitewater rapids.

There are six different rafting adventures to choose from.
Choose from an easy Upper Scenic Wilderness Run, Nenana Gorge Whitewater Oar Raft or Paddle Raft, Denali Double, and more! There are so many great options depending on your needs.
There are a couple of longer outings, as an 8 hour day, and also a multi-night overnight option. The trips have an 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., or 6:00 p.m. check in time.
Rafters can be as young as 5 to join the mellowest rafting experience available.
There’s an easy, 11 mile scenic run that heads over Class II and Class III whitewater, at a shorter 3-4 hour trip length. And on this trip, the guide controls the oars, so you can sit back and relax.
Rates start at $65.00 per child, age 5-9, and $106.00 per person, and go up from there.
The price will change depending on the length of the trip and where you explore. You can even plan your own Heli-Rafting Overnight Adventure, where you’re helicoptered up the river and spend the night on the banks for a multi-day adventure.
