Black Friday is just around the corner, and who wants to be a square and go shopping on Black Friday? There are so many other cool and unique things you can be doing instead of dropping dough on “UNBEATABLE BLACK FRIDAY PRICES!” So here’s the deal, do yourself and your family a favor by planning something a little more creative for your Friday after Thanksgiving.
For instance, get outside! Shed off those pounds you’ll probably add on the day before… mmmm Turkey. Or don’t, and get into the festive spirit not by shopping but by decorating your house and baking up holiday goods like cookies and gingerbread.
Enjoy getting into the holiday spirit by getting crafty and making homemade wreathes. All you need are some boughs clipped from trees and a wire ring to fasten them on. Add some decor and BAM, you just had an amazing Black Friday without standing in a single line.
I'm willing to bet the parks and trails will be more open than ever come Friday afternoon, so go ahead and take advantage. Skip the crowds and enjoy a day outside!
