Froth & Forage Coffeehouse and Eatery was founded in 2016 by Chef Zachary Reid. He studied and worked at restaurants for years before returning to Alaska to start his own. In 2012, he won the prestigious Vermont Chef of the Year Award.
The restaurant is perched on the side of the Seward Highway with a fantastic view of the Turnagain Arm. With a mission of environmental conservation and fresh Alaskan foods, this restaurant honors the land and the food it provides.
They offer a menu of organically grown, harvested wild, locally farmed, and seasonal foods. Sourced from both Alaska and Pacific Northwest farmers, fisherman and foragers, it is one of the few farm-to-table restaurants in Alaska.
The dining area is classic and comfortable with just 8 tables. The owner made the furniture himself! There are a more tables out on the deck for sunny, warm days.
