Located a short 40 minute drive from Anchorage, it's the perfect morning or afternoon day trip for anyone who wants to get away from it all. It's a 1.6-mile easy flat loop that rings around a meadow and offers views of glaciers, mountain tops, and more.

It takes a little while for the snow to harden, so you'll want to wait to have the best experience. If you're snowshoeing or walking, please try to stay to the right of the tracks, and stick to the fresh snow on the edges. But most of all, have fun!
