If you’re in need of some comfort food, Sophia’s Cafe in Palmer, Alaska has some of the best baked goods in the whole state. Whipping up muffins, cinnamon rolls, and more from scratch, this wonderful little spot will satisfy your comfort food cravings. The next time you’re in the Mat-Su area, make sure to hit this drive thru for the best cinnamon rolls you’ll ever have!
There's a small little shop in Palmer, Alaska that is getting rave reviews over their delicious bakery items.
Check in on their Facebook page to see if you'll be able to order the lemon poppyseed muffins, orange cranberry, blueberry lemon glazed, and more. You can also find freshly baked bread, tasty oven toasted sandwiches on that house made bread, and different flavors of sugar cookies.
They're actually a Greek cafe, and their Mediterranean style food and flavors are perfect for a lovely spring day. You will even find Greek specialties like spanakopita and zambonopita.
If you're feeling breakfast instead of a sweet or savory pastry, you can order their quiche of the day.
They're currently open Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. On Saturdays they are open from 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., and they're closed Sundays.
