When you combine a breathtaking journey with destinations that are equally as magical, it’s safe to say that you’re in for a major dose of eye candy. The best part about this scenic road trip is that it is picturesque no matter what time of year you take it. From towns nestled in the mountainside to cosmic hamlets by the sea, you’ll love every ounce of this enchanted experience.

This charming town is one of the most unique places in the last frontier. With an annual population under 1000 residents, Talkeetna offers a simple way of life. However, during the summer months the tiny town is where the tourists and Mt. Denali climbers flock for great food, comfortable lodging, incredible outdoor adventures and million dollar views.
Located in the Mat-Su Borough, the small town of Willow is tucked away from the crowds and surrounded by beautiful views of nature. Time your road trip accordingly and watch the famous start of the Iditarod from the town of Willow before continuing on down south.
Bop around this charming town filled with old fashioned adornments, or head up into the Talkeetna Mountains and check out the stunning views from Hatcher Pass. Stay overnight in a cabin with a million dollar view and finish the rest of your road trip tomorrow morning.
So much more than just the world's most beloved ski town, although you must visit Alyeska Resort when you're passing through. You'll fall in love with the incredible mountain views, groovy shops and peaceful people that can be found in this quirky and charming town.
There is only one way in, and one way out - through a tunnel carved into the side of the mountain. While driving to Whittier you'll be spoiled with countless views of hanging glaciers and once you arrive you'll fall in love with the mountains and views overlooking the harbor.
This historic gold rush town is a must-stop when visiting The Kenai, Alaska's Playground. Enjoy fantastic views, great fishing spots and some truly delicious home-style restaurants that are sure to make your taste-buds explode with happiness after a long drive.
This charming little town with a population under 300 residents is truly one of the most scenic places in Alaska. Views of the Kenai Lake and the world-famous Kenai and Russian Rivers that run right along the road will blow you away. The area is also excellent for fishing, hiking, kayaking and exploring.
Known as Alaska's Kenai River City, the small town of Soldotna is filled with charm and adventure. Visitors love the great access to fishing, Alaskan lodges, rustic cabins, multiple campgrounds, incredible restaurants and friendly locals.
Anchor Point is a magical little town that is definitely underrated. The Anchor River is a fantastic spot for steel-head fly fishing and the convenient beach access is great for enjoying a nice stroll with the family. The views here are simply unmatched!
The halibut fishing capital of the world and easily one of the most magical hamlets by the sea in North America, Homer is a place that everyone needs to visit at least once in their lifetime. Enjoy an endless amount of outdoor activities, creative gourmet cuisine, island escapes via ferry and tons of groovy shopping (with breathtaking views) that can be found down the Homer Spit.
