This charming little town with a population under 300 residents is truly one of the most scenic places in Alaska. Views of the Kenai Lake and the world-famous Kenai and Russian Rivers that run right along the road will blow you away. The area is also excellent for fishing, hiking, kayaking and exploring.
8. Soldotna
Known as Alaska's Kenai River City, the small town of Soldotna is filled with charm and adventure. Visitors love the great access to fishing, Alaskan lodges, rustic cabins, multiple campgrounds, incredible restaurants and friendly locals.
9. Anchor Point
Anchor Point is a magical little town that is definitely underrated. The Anchor River is a fantastic spot for steel-head fly fishing and the convenient beach access is great for enjoying a nice stroll with the family. The views here are simply unmatched!
10. Homer
The halibut fishing capital of the world and easily one of the most magical hamlets by the sea in North America, Homer is a place that everyone needs to visit at least once in their lifetime.
