Chugach Outdoor Center begins each white water adventure with safety training and orientation. The initial meeting point is near Hope, a dreamy little historic town.
Tours begin at 9 AM or 2 PM and last a few hours depending on the size of the group. Equipment provided includes the use of a helmet, paddle and life jacket.
Tours head through the thrilling Six Mile Creek, a series of three narrow canyons with amazing white water rapids of increasing intensity. Visitors agree that this trip is exhilarating and awesome.
