Looking for some seriously good late night food? This Russian restaurant in Alaska checks all of the boxes, especially the delicious part! Chow down on the best Russian dumplings you’ll find in Alaska’s biggest city at Anchorage Pel’Meni, located right downtown. This place is even open late on the weekends… which means you can get great food whenever the craving strikes.
There’s a new restaurant in town, and it’s called Anchorage Pel’Meni.
Serving up Russian dumplings, this place is filled with delicious food. And the best part? It’s open really late, too, so you can get your cravings all night long.
The owner, Mark Moore, has been slinging Russian dumplings for 15 years.
He started in Juneau at their Pel’meni restaurant, before partnering with Juneau’s owner and opening a new one in Sitka. Now he’s in Anchorage, and we are so glad to have him!

You can order two types of these delicious dumplings: beef or potato.
Tasty and nutritious, the dumplings were originally made to bring along on hunts in Siberia. But we’re just as happy eating them in the restaurant, or at home as take out!
Pel’Meni’s restaurant is located on K Street, right across from the Hotel Captain Cook.
It’s the perfect location for walk-ins after the bars let out, or just a great place to grab a bite to eat for dinner. There’s an Easy Park lot across the street, or metered street parking available nearby.
