As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
There are so many epic getaways in the Last Frontier, and this remote treehouse in Alaska is no exception. Only accessible by boat, you’ll have to travel outside of Seward to find this gorgeous spot. But if you’re looking for beauty, peace, and quiet, there’s no better place than this house up in the trees.
Coming in at 6,640 miles, there are tons of nooks and crannies to explore. And being able to actually spend the night on the water isn’t something that most people have the chance to do.
And in Humpy Cove, on Resurrection Bay, is a cozy little hideaway on the cliff above the waterfront.
Those kinds of amenities aren’t usually found in remote areas of Alaska! The only thing this place is missing is a shower, but don’t worry; you’ll be too busy enjoying yourself to notice.
They don’t include transportation to the cabin; that will have to be booked separately through a water taxi company in Seward. But it’s well worth the trip!
If you want the vacation of your dreams, make sure to head out to Humpy’s Cove for a trip you won’t forget.
