This One-Of-A-Kind Amusement Park Is Hiding In The Tiny Town Of Tok, Alaska
Welcome to the Disney World of Alaska! Well, not quite… but this unusual junkyard amusement park is the closest thing they have in the small town of Tok, Alaska.
George and Beth Jacobs came to Tok by way of Wisconsin back in the 1980’s. In 1985, George decided that the little town needed something new. He began to build Mukluk Land, a low-key amusement park that celebrates the rich history of anything with a motor. George has gathered quite a collection, including a firetruck, snowmobiles, tractors, and even war tanks! It’s really a walk down memory lane and a fun journey for kids who want to see some old time vehicles.
No amusement park is complete without games and prizes. Aside from the vehicles, you will also find tether ball, whack-a-mole, skeeball, and a moon bounce located on site to keep the little ones occupied. We’re warning you now: Griffin, the resident Skee-ball champion, puts up some stiff competition for anyone looking for a challenge! Don’t underestimate this young pro… he has been practicing since he was 4 years old!
Don’t forget to collect your tickets and pick a prize! Even if you don’t win a souvenir to take home with you, the memories made at Mukluk Land will never fade.
