It offers something all year round, including cross country skiing in the winter, and salmon spawning in a nearby creek during late summer and early fall.
The trail cuts through a beautiful cottonwood forest.
It's flat all the way out to the water, and you won't climb more than 85 feet of elevation the entire time. This is a wonderful stroll for small children or those who aren't interested in a strenuous hike.
The trail opens up into a large meadow before reaching the ocean.
