If you’re in Seward you want bird’s eye views over the stunning water, this hike over Resurrection Bay will give you everything you are looking for! Seward has many great hikes, and the Skyline Trail is one you definitely don’t want to miss. Get your gear and head on out on a hike that will give you an amazing glimpse of the bay below!
If you want to see Seward from a new vantage point, you need to get up on the Skyline Trail to check out Resurrection Bay.
This gorgeous trail gives you bird's eye views of the mountains and water beneath you. Pack a picnic, throw on your sneakers, and head on out to an adventure!
The trailhead is easy to find and located in downtown Seward. You’ll start the trail through a cool, lovely forested section before breaking out above the tree line.
There are many Alaskan wildlife species nearby, so keep watch for bears, moose, and many types of birds. Bring your binoculars so you can see even further out into the bay!
The views all throughout the hike are absolutely stunning.
When you arrive at the trailhead, you’ll want to park opposite on the other side of the street. You will love this rewarding views at the top of this moderately challenging trail!
