Escape to the mountains of Alaska at the Grand View RV Park in Sutton. This wonderful campground, RV park, and cafe are located in a fantastic spot for adventuring, and they’re right on the Glenn Highway. Wildlife view, climb a glacier, or go river rafting in this exciting Alaska playground this summer.
There’s a spot right off the Glenn Highway in Sutton, Alaska that will stun you with its incredible views.
This campground and cafe offers full service RV sites, tent camping, restrooms and showers, and the best restaurant around. You must stop here if you’re in the area!
Surrounded by the Talkeetna and Chugach Mountain Ranges, there’s not a bad view no matter where you look.
You can go wildlife viewing in the nearby Sheep Mountain Dall Sheep Preserve. Keep your eyes trained on the mountain side to catch a glimpse of the sheep.
Go ice climbing on nearby Matanuska Glacier. Or take an exciting river rafting trip down Matanuska River. You can even go flight seeing around this beautiful area!
The popular RV sites start at $38.00 per night and include cable TV, a picnic table, and wonderful scenic views. If you want to splurge, ask ahead of time about their Deluxe Sites that offer a large grassy area and less neighbors. Those sites run at $43.00 per night.
This incredible campground is open from May 21st through September 7th.
