Once you break above the tree line, you'll be amazed by the view of the water beneath you, and the mountains that surround you.
It's a moderately difficult trail, and there are some steep spots interspersed with easier areas. Take your time while you're hiking the narrower areas. You'll want to go slower to take in the view, anyway!
There are many other trails that branch off the main trail that you can also follow.
Bring a jacket and good hiking shoes, as the weather in the area can change quickly. Don't forget to bring your bear spray, and stay alert while hiking on the trail.
If you want the views but would like to take it a little easier, take the tram up.
The amazing view isn't that much farther from the tram, so you'll be able to explore without hiking up the entire mountain. Tram tickets start at $35.00 for adults, and $18.00 for children three years of age and older.
